    Why PDFusion

    Small tool, serious craft

Every option you'd reach for in a desktop app — without the install, the account or the upload.

    • Drag to reorder

Grab any thumbnail and drop it where it belongs. Page order follows the grid exactly.

    • Rotate & correct

90° rotation per photo, EXIF orientation honoured automatically so nothing lands sideways.

    • Real compression

Quality slider plus optional downscaling turns a 60 MB camera dump into a mailable file.

    • Layout presets

One photo per page, split pages, 2×2 grids or a six-up contact sheet — with margin control.

    • Watermarks & captions

Diagonal watermark with opacity control, filename captions and automatic page numbers.

    • Private by design

The PDF is assembled by your own browser. No upload, no queue, no server ever sees a pixel.

    • Metadata control

Set the title, author and subject that show up in a viewer's document properties.

    • Live PDF preview

Inspect the finished document inline before you download, then tweak and rebuild instantly.

    How it works

    Three steps, no sign-up

    1. 01

      Add your photos

Drop them onto the page, browse from disk, or paste straight from the clipboard. Duplicates are flagged, unsupported files are skipped with a reason.

    2. 02

      Arrange & tune

Drag thumbnails into order, rotate the odd one out, pick a page size and layout, then dial in quality and extras.

    3. 03

      Create & download

Watch it build page by page, preview the result inline, and save the PDF to your device.

    FAQ

    Good questions

If something here doesn't match what you see, the editor is the source of truth.

    Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. The page loads its PDF engine locally and does all the work in your browser tab. You can disconnect from the network after the page loads and it will still work.

How many photos can I merge?

There is no hard cap — the practical limit is your device's memory. A few hundred phone photos is comfortable; if you're merging thousands, downscale to 1600 px to keep memory in check.

    Which formats are supported?

Anything your browser can decode: JPG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF (first frame) and BMP. Apple HEIC files usually can't be decoded by browsers — convert them to JPG first, or export as "Most Compatible" on iOS.

Why is my PDF smaller than the originals?

Photos are re-encoded as JPEG at the quality you choose and optionally downscaled. Set quality to 100% and "keep original size" for a faithful copy at the cost of file size.

    Can I add a password?

Not here — encryption isn't something the in-browser engine does. Use your OS print-to-PDF dialog or a desktop tool if you need an encrypted document.

Does the order in the grid match the PDF?

Exactly. The grid is the page order, top-left to bottom-right; the number badge on each thumbnail shows its position.

    Ready when you are

Your photos are already on this device. That's the only ingredient.
